Flood Review seeks Community Views
The Victorian Floods Review website provides a comprehensive review of flood warnings and emergency response efforts undertaken in the wake of severe flooding across Victoria.
The primary goal of the website is to give the review an online presence, enabling all Victorians accessible and equitable access to the review process and the opportunity to provide their input.
Flood affected Victorians are encouraged to visit the website to:
- make a written online submission
- view consultation meeting times, including invitations for public participation
- access key contact information, including freecall numbers and email.
The site was commissioned to support the newly established review of the 2010-11 Flood Warnings and Response, of which the final report to the Premier is due 1 December 2011.
The findings of the review will help guide the government’s response and planning to make sure Victoria is better equipped to deal with similarly severe flooding events in the future.
If you have been flood affected, visit the website and have your say at Victorian Floods Review.
