Programs and Strategy - Courts and Tribunals Unit

The Programs and Strategy Branch of the Courts and Tribunals Unit undertakes a broad range of functions including:

• developing and field testing new initiatives
• consolidating and extending existing court-based diversionary problem solving programs and building on these initiatives for sustainability
• collaborating with the courts and other agencies to develop, consolidate and maintain best practice
• researching and progressing recommendations to contribute to the strategic direction of the Courts portfolio.

The Unit also manages and supports a number of projects and programs emerging from Government policies.
