Marisa De Cicco, Executive Director, Strategic Policy and Legislation
Marisa De Cicco, Executive Director, Strategic Policy and Legislation Division positions the department to meet the government’s law and order agenda by bringing together all of the key law and order policy and legislation units.
The division is involved in a wide range of activities including:
- policy and legislative development
- law reform
- innovative projects
- service delivery.
The division’s objectives include:
- maintaining a fair and equitable legal system
- increasing diversion to appropriate dispute resolution
- increasing community confidence in how the justice system deals with crime
- effective cross-portfolio governance, coordination and development.
Career Achievements
Marisa has been with the department for over 10 years and in addition to her role here, Marisa sits on the Victorian Government Purchasing Board.
