Graffiti Grants

Round One - applications have now closed.

Announcements of grant outcomes are expected to be made in early 2012.

The Graffiti Prevention and Removal Grants (Graffiti Grants) will fund councils to partner with local communities across Victoria to develop and deliver local solutions to graffiti.

Grant funding between $5,000 and $25,000 is available for eligible projects.

Examples of projects that might receive grant funding include (but are not limited to):

  • Purpose-built community graffiti removal trailers
  • Portable graffiti removal systems
  • Graffiti removal kits and/or paint vouchers
  • Anti-graffiti coating kits and vouchers
  • Anti-graffiti information, education or diversionary initiatives
  • Location-based projects e.g. Adopt-a-Space, Care-for-an-Area
  • Designing-out graffiti (environmental design) projects, including public art and mural projects

In creating the Graffiti Grants, the government recognises that communities are best placed to identify and prioritise issues of concern regarding local graffiti, and will support them to do so.
