Community Safety Fund Grants

Round One - Applications have now closed.

The Office of the Minister for Crime Prevention has indicated that announcements of grant application outcomes will be made in January 2012. Applicants will be advised directly of the outcome.

The Community Safety Fund Grants Program (CSF Grants) will fund local crime prevention and community safety projects across Victoria to help make our communities safer.

In creating the CSF Grants, the Government recognises that communities are best placed to identify and prioritise issues of concern regarding local crime and safety, and will support them to do so.

CSF Grants will be open to councils and local community groups to undertake practical crime prevention projects. This includes projects such as installing security lighting, padlocks, security screens, fencing, or undertaking awareness activities to deter crime and increase community safety.

Grants of up to $10,000 are available for the first round.

The CSF Grants Program will be implemented over a four-year period, as part of the government’s Community Crime Prevention Program.
