The Court Integrated Services Program (CISP) offers a coordinated, team-based approach to the assessment and treatment of defendants at the pre-trial or bail stage. It provides case management support and links defendants to support services such as drug and alcohol treatment, crisis accommodation, disability services and mental health services.
Court Integrated Services Program - Tackling The Causes of Crime, summarises the final program and economic evaluations of the CISP. The evaluations, conducted by Melbourne University Consulting and Custom Programs and PriceWaterhouseCoopers respectively evaluated key aspects of the operations and economic benefits associated with the CISP over a three year time frame.
