Special and Exceptional Circumstances A Guide for Health Practitioners, Case Workers and Support Agencies
This guide will assist health practitioners preparing reports to support a client's application for review of an infringement notice under the Infringements Act 2006, on the basis of special or exceptional circumstances.
The purpose of the practitioner's report is to set out details of the client's condition and treatment in support of their claim. The guide explains what 'special circumstances' and 'exceptional circumstances' are, and provides relevant questions which should be answered to support the patient's claim.
