Country Racing Victoria
Country Racing Victoria (CRV) Ltd is a registered company responsible for the profitable conduct, management, planning and development of non-metropolitan thoroughbred racing in Victoria.
CRV represents 53 professional clubs ranging from large clubs in the outer metropolitan areas of Melbourne to small clubs in rural areas.
On 1 August 2005 CRV also resumed the responsibility for the management of picnic racing. There are 14 picnic (amateur) race clubs conducting 33 meetings in the period from late October to mid-April.
