Report: Problem Gambling in People Presenting to a Public Mental Health Service
This report investigates the prevalence of problem gambling in individuals who presented to a public mental health service. It aims to explore the emotional, mental and physical health problems and the nature of suicide ideations and behaviours of those people identified as having gambling problems.
The report was completed by staff from the Monash Alfred Psychiatry Research Centre (MAPrc). MAPrc is part of The Alfred Hospital Department of Psychiatry and the School of Psychology and Psychiatry at Monash University.
