Report: Socio-Economic Impacts of Access to EGMs in Victoria
This report examines the socio-economic impacts of accessibility to gaming machine gambling in Victorian communities and in disadvantaged communities in particular. The research sought to understand the nature of community harm and community benefit and the critical elements that create resilience to high levels of problem gambling in communities.
The report was completed by Professor Kerry Brown from Southern Cross University and Professor David Pickernell, Dr Robin Keast and Dr Mark McGovern from Queensland University of Technology.
