Victorian Gambling Study - A Longitudinal Study of Gambling and Public Health - Wave Two Findings

The Victorian Gambling Study: A Longitudinal Study of Gambling and Public Health - Wave Two Findings is an overview of the findings from Wave Two of a study of the epidemiology of problem gambling in Victoria. Epidemiology is the study of the distribution and determinants of health related states or events in specified populations, and the application of this study to control health problems.

The findings of Wave Two of this study reveal that gambling habits and behaviours are not static. Wave One findings were outlined in the baseline report A Study of Gambling in Victoria - Problem Gambling from a Public Health Perspective which was published in September 2009. This report is also available for download from the Department's website.

The report was produced by the Department of Justice from analysis prepared by an independent, expert research panel.
