Appeal Costs Board process

When an application is received by the Registrar of the Board, it is registered, assessed and placed before the Board as soon as practicable. Following the Board meeting, a letter is forwarded to the applicant's solicitors informing them of the Board's decision.

Section 35A Appeal Costs Act 1998 requires applications to be submitted within 12 months of the close of proceedings to which the certificate pertains to avoid expiry of the certificate.
