Victorian Prison Opioid Substitution Therapy Program Publications

The Victorian Prison Opioid Substitution Therapy Program, Clinical and Operational Policy & Procedures provide a framework for managing opioid substitution treatments in Victorian prisons, particularly methadone and buprenorphine.

The Program aims to help prisoners manage their opioid dependence and reduce the harms associated with drug use in prisons and the community and to reduce drug-related crime.

The Clinical and Operational Policy & Procedures were launched in 2003.
