Creating a Pathway to Reintegration: The Correctional Services Employment Pilot Program Evaluation Report - January 2005
This report is in relation to a comprehensive evaluation of the Correctional Services Employment Pilot Program that was conducted during 2004. The progam was funded for two years as part of the Corrections Victoria commitment to reducing reoffending.
The Correctional Services Employment Pilot Program (CSEPP) provided employment assistance and referred participants to other relevant support services. Prisoners and offenders registered on a voluntary basis and were eligible for support for 12 months.
The two primary program objectives for participants were sustained employment and reduced reoffending. The program operated from 17 Corrections Victoria locations, comprising seven prisons and 10 Community Corrections locations.
See the final report below for further details of the CSEPP.
