Getting there - car

From Melbourne, follow the Princes Highway (M1) heading for Sale for approximately 200km. The Fulham Correctional Centre is located on the right hand side of the highway approximately 15km after the township of Rosedale. There is signage advising the Centre's location at the turnoff into Hopkin's Road. The Centre is approximately 500m down Hopkin's Road.

The city of Sale is located approximately 11km east of Fulham. There is no regular bus service between Melbourne and Sale that is suitable for visitors.

Getting there - public transport

Train travel is available through V-Line, tel: 136 196 or visit www.vline.com.au 

Alternative transport is available via the Sale Taxi Service, tel: 5144 3278. On weekends and public holidays, visitors to the Fulham Correctional Centre are able to utilise the services of the Sale Taxi Service's eight seater bus which meets the train. At approximately 4pm, upon closure of the visits, the taxi service departs the Centre to transport visitors back to the railway station. The cost is subsidised at $5 for the return trip. There are no other pick-up points and the service is only for valid V-Line ticket holders traveling between the station and the FCC.
