The Judy Lazarus Transition Centre is located in the Melbourne Central Business District at the corner of Jeffcott and Adderley Streets, West Melbourne.

The centre is 260 metres north of the Southern Cross (formerly Spencer Street) Station, and is serviced by trams travelling along Spencer and La Trobe Streets.
