The 2009 Victorian Bushfires Royal Commission Interim Report was provided to the government by the Chair of the Commission, the Hon. Bernard Teague AO and Commissioners Ron McLeod AM and Susan Pascoe AM on Monday 17 August 2009. In its Interim Report, the Commission required the parties, including the State, to provide it with a Delivery Report by 31 March 2010 on the progress made towards implementation of its interim recommendations and, where appropriate, the outcomes and effectiveness of the response.

On 4 November 2009, Neil Comrie, AO APM, former Chief Commissioner of Victoria Police, was appointed to monitor the implementation of the Royal Commission’s interim recommendations and prepare the required Delivery Report.

Attached is a copy of the State Delivery Report as provided to the Royal Commission on 31 March 2010.
