Protocol between Mental Health Branch and Community Corrections
The Mental Health Branch (MHB), Department of Human Services and Community Correctional Services (CCS) have jointly developed a protocol to enhance staff knowledge and offender access to mental health services.
The protocol will help to meet the needs of adults within CCS who present with an urgent need for assessment or those with a mental illness or disorder.
