Victorian Government Response to the Implementation Review of the Recommendations from the Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody

The Victorian Government released its response to the Victorian Implementation Review of the Recommendations from the Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody on 27 October, 2005.

The response takes into account the related findings and recommendations from the implementation review, which includes the development of the Victorian Aboriginal Justice Agreement Phase 2 (AJA2).

Implementation Review of the Recommendations from the Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody

The two-volume Victorian Implementation Review of the Recommendations from the Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody report was tabled in Parliament on 27 October 2005.

The purpose of this review was to evaluate the implementation of the 339 recommendations of the Royal Commission into Aboriginal Deaths in Custody.
