Frontline Youth Initiatives

Frontline Youth Initiatives (Frontline) projects are targeted toward Koori children and young people, to help reduce negative contact with the justice system. Frontline projects are primarily community-based initiatives that promote healthy and pro-social lifestyles, with a focus on, for example, promoting:

• youth leadership
• sporting activities (both individual and team based)
• cultural
• cultural understanding of healthy lifestyles
• music
• arts and performance based activities.

Frontline projects receive funding through the Victorian Aboriginal Justice Agreement (AJA), which is administered by the Koori Justice Unit.
