Responsible Gambling

Responsible Gambling

Responsible gambling is about minimising harm caused by problem gambling while accommodating those who gamble without harming themselves or others. A number of measures and initiatives have been introduced to foster responsible gambling by:

  • engaging the community and key stakeholders in decision making about gambling
  • encouraging gamblers to play safely without harming themselves or others
  • promoting good customer service practices by gambling providers.

Responsible Gambling Advocacy Centre

The Responsible Gambling Advocacy Centre (the Centre) aims to build the capacity of the community to make informed choices about gambling.

It does this by coordinating available information and providing stakeholders with opportunities to come together, discuss issues and advocate for change.

See 'Web Links' on the right for a link to the Centre's website or email to the centre at info@responsiblegambling.org.au.
