Graffiti Grants – Applications Now Open

Large-scale faces mural that was once a graffiti hotspot in the City of Yarra

Victorian Councils are invited to apply for grants of up to $25,000 to partner with community groups to deliver local graffiti prevention initiatives.

The Graffiti Prevention Grants provide funding for Victorian councils to partner with community stakeholders to develop and deliver projects to prevent graffiti vandalism in local communities.

Graffiti vandalism not only affects the appearance of neighbourhoods and influences perceptions of public safety, it is also costly for communities and property owners to prevent and remove graffiti.

Project ideas that may be eligible to receive funding include murals and public art at graffiti hotspots, education and diversionary initiatives, and activities that encourage community ownership and care for graffiti hotspots.

Program information, including guidelines, examples of previously funded projects and links to the online application form can be found on our Graffiti Prevention Grants page

Applications close 4.00pm on Friday 12 May 2017.

Late applications cannot be submitted.
