Greg Wilson, Secretary

Greg Wilson was appointed Secretary of the Department of Justice, now Department of Justice and Regulation, on 15 April 2013. From August 2009 until this appointment, Greg was Secretary of the Department of Sustainability and Environment. 

From July 2008, Greg was Deputy Secretary Policy and Cabinet Group, Department of Premier and Cabinet.

Greg was Chairperson of Victoria’s Essential Services Commission from 2005. In addition he has held a number of senior leadership roles, including Deputy Secretary (Water Sector) in the Department of Sustainability and Environment, General Manager of Regulatory Policy at the Essential Services Commission and its predecessor body, the Office of the Regulator-General, Senior Economist, Department of Treasury and Finance, and in the water industry, at Melbourne Water and City West Water.
