| A: | WWC Check cards are valid for 5 years unless revoked by the department. You do not need to get a new WWC Check card if you are moving from:
However, if you are moving from a volunteer to a paid position, you need to apply for an ‘Employee’ WWC Check card. It is an offence to use a ‘Volunteer’ WWC Check card when undertaking ‘child-related work’ for profit or gain. If your employer, volunteer organisation or agency changes, you must notify the Department of Justice within 21 days of becoming aware of the change. Penalties may apply for failure to do so. |

| A: | If you require a replacement WWC Check card, because your card is lost or damaged, download the Replacement Card form, complete and post to the Department of Justice. |
