Proof of Identification Documents

When lodging your Working with Children (WWC) Check application at a participating Australia Post outlet, you must provide current and original identification documents to be photocopied by the Australia Post attendant.

Your identification documents are used to verify your identity and the information you have provided on your application form. This is essential because part of the WWC Check involves a national police records check.

Acceptable proof of identification documents are divided into three categories, as detailed in the Proof of Identification Requirements publication. Your documents must reach a minimum total of 100 points and fulfill the category requirements.

If you are unable to provide a document that will meet these requirements, please contact the WWC Check Information Line for further advice.
