Koori Tertiary Scholarship Program

The department offers a number of Koori tertiary scholarships through the Koori Recruitment and Career Development Strategy, an initiative of the Victorian Aboriginal Justice Agreement (AJA).

Since 2000, the department has awarded 28 scholarships through the Koori Tertiary Scholarship Program.

The scholarships assist Indigenous students to undertake full time study in a range of justice related fields including:

• law
• criminology
• para-legal
• psychology
• psychiatry
• mental health
• social work.

Four scholarships are offered at any one time. Eligibility criteria, guidelines for applying and application forms will be available from this website as scholarship opportunities become available.
