Transcript of New Problem Gambling Campaign on Track Video

Presenter's introduction

The Minister for Gaming, Tony Robinson launched the Victorian Government's new problem gambling campaign using one of Melbourne's icons – our famous trams.

The $950,000 campaign is helping to promote the introduction of new player information standards for gaming machines.

Minister for Gaming Tony Robinson

Today we are here launching one of the government's new strategies to tackle problem gambling.

This is our new tram here with the most powerful signage yet, and this is designed to warn people about the risks of problem gambling. To encourage them to stay in control, to exercise greater control, to walk away.

It's important with respect to gambling that people control it.  They don't allow it to control them.

The tram will be prominent on Melbourne's streets until September.
