Victorian Volunteers take Top Show Honours
The Vital. Valued. Victorians campaign is going from strength-to-strength with our volunteers receiving overwhelming community support and awards.
The Emergency Services Volunteer stand at this year’s Royal Melbourne Show received Information Victoria’s “Most Outstanding Customer Service Award.”
Around 500 exhibits were featured at this year’s Show, and the volunteers were judged top of the field for their standard of service.
The stand operated each day of the Show and was run by volunteers from the CFA, Victorian SES, and Life Saving Victoria.
The main purpose of the stand was to inform show-goers about the work volunteers do year round to protect all Victorians.
The show is over for another year and it is back to business for our volunteers gearing up for the next bushfire season and a busy summer on Victoria’s beaches.
