Justice Statement 2
The Attorney General's Justice Statement 2 outlines a series of reforms to take Victoria's justice system forward, making it fairer, more accessible and more responsive to the Victorian community. The reforms in Justice Statement 2 aim to further protect the rights of all Victorians and address issues of disadvantage and offending in the criminal justice system.

The initiatives in Justice Statement 2 are grouped into five themes:

- Protecting rights
- Addressing disadvantage
- Reducing the cost of justice
- Creating an engaged and unified court system
The government's goal, through the Justice Statement, is to ensure that the justice system continues to contribute to the prosperity and wellbeing of all Victorians into the 21st century.
