Types of Licences

Certain businesses, traders and companies operating in Victoria are required to register with the Business Licensing Authority (BLA) before they can legally do business. The BLA requires the following business to comply with licensing and regulation requirements:

• motor car traders
• credit providers
• estate agents
• finance or mortgage brokers
• introduction agents
• prostitution service providers
• second-hand dealers and pawnbrokers
• travel agents
