Victim Support
For victims of crime who need to go to court, there are some services which can help make it easier on the day.
Court Network
The state-wide Court Network service volunteers offer personal support, information and referral for victims of crime, their families and others preparing to attend court. It has onsite services in the Supreme, County, Coroner's, Family, Children's and Melbourne and district Magistrates' courts.

Victims of Crime Helpline
The Victims of Crime Helpline is run by the Victims Support Agency, a central resource for victims of crime. Helpline staff can provide information, advice and referrals to help victims of certain crimes, for example violent crimes and domestic violence involving an intervention order.

Witness Assistance Service
The Witness Assistance Service is available to all prosecution witnesses and victims of crime involved in cases handled by the Office of Public Prosecutions. The service provides information and support and is free of charge.
