Submissions - Review of the Gaming Machine Approval Process

In October 2006, the Victorian Government released Taking action on problem gambling, a five-year strategy to combat problem gambling in Victoria.

Gaming machine approvals: enhancing the decision making process outlines issues to be considered as part of the Government’s review. It provides some background information on the existing gaming machine approval process. It also provides information about the processes used in other states.

Interested parties within the community were invited to submit their comments on the draft order to the Executive Director Gaming and Racing.
