Measuring Problem Gambling - Evaluation of the Victorian Gambling Screen

This evaluation was executed for the purpose of assessing problem gambling and was used as a comparison to other similar measurement tools.

It assesses the Victorian Gambling Screen (VGS) and looks at a model of the components of problem gambling, the report covers the following:

• background to the project
• project methodology
• outcomes of the literature analysis
• the model of influences on gambling behaviours and outcomes
• a conceptual model of the components of problem gambling
• the outcomes of the analysis of the Flinders VGS report
• the analysis of the problem gambling measurement tools and typologies
• the design of the forthcoming validation study.
