Corrections Victoria - Strategic Priorities 2009-10

The Corrections Victoria (CV) business plan for 2009-10 responds to the current challenges faced by the unit and maps out a way to meet and overcome these challenges for the year.

The goal of the plan is to meet the demands and expectations of government and community, and to support the strategic priorities of the Department of Justice.

There are eight identified strategic priorities for this year:

1. Managing demand for correctional services
2. Developing and implementing targeted criminal justice interventions
3. Managing serious sex offenders
4. Implementing regionalisation across Corrections Victoria
5. Enhancing Corrections Victoria's operations
6. Enhancing our data and analytical capacity
7. Growing our people and leaders
8. Contributing to environmental improvement
