Review of Prison Industries - From Labour To Work

Researchers from the Workplace Research Centre at the University of Sydney undertook an evaluation of Corrections Victoria's Commercial Prison Industries from July 2006 to June 2007. The primary objective of the project was to evaluate the adequacy of the program for contemporary business, employment and educational needs, given the changing economic environment. In addition, the researchers were tasked to provide advice on how the program might be improved.
