Corrections Victoria Research Strategy and Agenda - 2009-2012

The Corrections Victoria Research Strategy and Agenda 2009-2012, which was launched on 5 March 2009, is the first of its kind for Corrections Victoria, and reflects the growing importance that research is assuming in Corrections Victoria and the commitment to evidence-based policy development.

This initiative will promote research in the organisation, and ensure that research efforts support the achievement of Corrections Victoria’s strategic priorities and yield findings that are useful at both policy and operational levels. While the Research Agenda includes topics to be commissioned externally or explored by Corrections Victoria staff, some areas are suitable for independent researchers and students and the Research Agenda document is a valuable resource for the broader external research community.
