Community Correctional Services Alcohol and Drug Strategy 2008

The Community Correctional Services Alcohol and Drug Strategy has been developed to address the specific needs of offenders supervised in the community, and complements the Victorian Prison Drug Strategy.

This provides a platform for addressing the issue of reducing harm caused by illicit and licit drug use and drug related crime and violence, plus the anti-social behaviour of offenders with drug and alcohol issues, who are subject to community supervision.

The Strategy has been developed in consultation with a range of internal and external stakeholders, particularly the Department of Human Services, Mental Health and Drugs Operations Branch.
