The Evidence Act Ready Reckoner compares each section of the new Act with the Evidence Act 1958 and relevant case law. It contains hyperlinks to corresponding sections of the Act and to cases. It also indicates the extent of the change made to the law taking into account firstly, the change to the particular aspect of the relevant corresponding law, and secondly, the significance of the change to the law of evidence as a whole.
