Advisory Panel Reports

On 25 May 2009, the Honourable Rob Hulls, Attorney-General appointed an Advisory Panel to investigate and report on the following two matters:

  1. whether Mr Hakki Suleyman is a fit and proper person to hold the office of Justice of the Peace in and for Victoria
  2. whether the appointment processes at the time of Mr Suleyman's appointment were appropriate and provide any recommendations to improve the existing Departmental appointment process for the office of Justice of the Peace.
