Human Rights in Victoria - Statement of Intent

In April 2005, the Attorney General released the Victorian Government's statement of intent for human rights in Victoria. The statement of intent outlines the government's purpose in appointing a Human Rights Consultation Committee. It discusses the primary purpose of the consultation to identify mechanisms that will strengthen Victorians' enjoyment of their democratic rights and the institutions that protect those rights.
