About Liquor Licensing
Responsible Alcohol Victoria (RAV) is responsible for the administration of the liquor licensing system in Victoria and provides support to the Director of Liquor Licensing.
RAV also coordinates alcohol policy and related issues within the Department of Justice, and provides leadership across the Victorian Government on alcohol policy reform. The Compliance Directorate also sits within RAV in order to supplement Victoria Police operations in enforcing Victoria's liquor laws.
