Are you an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander student undertaking full-time tertiary studies in Victoria?

Recipients of the Justice Health Aboriginal Tertiary Scholarship receive a fortnightly study allowance to undertake full-time study in a range of health related fields such as nursing, medicine, psychology, health promotion and social work.

In addition to the allowance, scholarship recipients are eligible for a study placement at one of Victoria’s correctional centres.

Justice Health (External link) is the unit within the department responsible for the delivery of health care and alcohol and other drug programs within Victoria’s prisons. Justice Health is also responsible for the delivery of health care and offender behaviour programs in the Youth Justice system.

  • download and complete the application form, including the Statutory Declaration of Aboriginality.
