Legislation and regulation

The unit is responsible for the provision of strategic policy advice and support to the Minister for Consumer Affairs, Gaming and Liquor Regulation.

The department is currently conducting a review of licensing arrangements for bookmakers in Victoria to determine what improvements can be made to the current bookmaker licensing system.
