Justice Policy and Data Reform is responsible for supporting the criminal and civil justice systems by linking and leveraging data between them and working across government to better serve our common clients.
We collaborate with key entities across the justice system and the department to ensure policy reform is strategic, relevant, holistic and people-centred. We also deliver strategic policy and legislative advice and reform to support the Attorney-General and Government to enhance the justice and community safety system.

Corrections and Justice Services

Corrections and Justice Service oversees three key areas. Corrections Victoria is responsible for the direction and management of Victoria’s adult corrections system. Justice Health contributes to the health and rehabilitation of youth and adult offenders. Justice Services work collaboratively with communities and program areas to deliver effective justice services to meet local needs and priorities.
