Specific matters considered
Establishment of an LGBTIQ+ Legal Service in the Victorian Pride Centre
The procurement process is currently underway with applications closing on 22 September 2022. As per Victorian Government procurement processes, applications will undergo an evaluation process by a panel. A probity adviser has also been engaged to ensure the integrity of the process.

Updates from the Human Resources Command, Victoria Police
A representative from Victoria Police presented on the development of the 2022-2024 LGBTIQ+ Action Plan, an internal document for Victoria Police to support their employees in creating a workplace that is supportive, respectful, welcoming and inclusive of LGBTIQ+ Victoria Police employees.
Update on medical reform for people with an intersex variation
A representative from the Department of Health provided an update on the implementation of (i) Am Equal: Future directions for Victoria's Intersex community.
Updates from Corrections and Justice Services on support for LGBTIQ+ people in the corrections system
Representatives from the Department of Justice presented and sought advice regarding short, medium and long-term support for LGBTIQ+ people in the corrections system.
Updates on Equal Opportunity Act 2010 reforms and Change or Suppression (Conversion) Practices Prohibition Act 2021
Representatives from the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission presented on the implementation progress of the Equal Opportunity Act 2010 in regard to spent convictions, religious exceptions and sex worker protections and implementation of the Change or Suppression (Conversion) Practices Prohibition Act 2021.
