The Department of Justice and Community Safety is tendering the Whole of Victorian Government Legal Services Panel.
The new Panel will commence on 1 July 2023 for a fixed term of 3 years plus one option to extend for a further period of 3 years.
The current Panel contract expires 30 June 2023 for all 12 Areas of Law (AoL) under the arrangements. DJCS is seeking to appoint a panel of experienced and capable law firms through an open market tender to:

provide high-quality, cost-effective, fit-for-purpose legal services:
- advice;

dispute resolution; and

representation;
in all AoL, which are as follows:

Construction, Infrastructure & Major Projects;

Administrative Law;
-
Commercial & Contracts;
-
General Litigation (the current Prosecutions AoL will be subsumed into the General Litigation AoL);

Employment, Industrial Relations & Equal Opportunity;

Public Inquiries;

Property;
-
Personal Injuries;
-
Planning & Environment;
-
Coronial Inquiries;
-
Intellectual Property & Information Technology; and
-
Legal Support Services.
