The LGBTIQ+ Justice Working Group 2020-21 has now completed activities. A new LGBTIQ+ Justice Working Group was appointed at the end of 2021.

Membership

The LGBTIQ+ Justice Working Group was co-chaired by Janet Jukes and Harriet Shing MP. Members of the LGBTIQ+ Justice Working Group were: Aimee Cooper, Anna Brown, Dale Park, Felicity Marlowe, James Roffee, Maree Foelz, Paul Kidd, Sam Elkin, Steven Michelson, Wendy Brokenshire and Wil Stracke.

While members were appointed for their individual skills and experience, they brought to the table a wide range of organisational and community connections.

LGBTIQ+ Taskforce members were ex-officio members of the LGBTIQ+ Justice Working Group. Victoria’s former Commissioner for Gender and Sexuality, Ro Allen also attended LGBTIQ+ Justice Working Group meetings.

The Department of Justice and Community Safety provided secretariat support to the LGBTIQ+ Justice Working Group.
